Additional notes

For safe driving, we recommend you to get yourself familialize with the traffic rules in Japan and information on the rental car. Special rules are in place in Japan for traffic, signals, use of ETC system on the highway and driving a rental car. Please prepare yourself for driving a rental car in Japan.

How to obtain

Please park the car at the location you specified at the time of reservation.
Please place the parking receipt in the case and put in on the passenger seat.
Please lock the car, enclose the key in the Letter Pack, and put it in the postbox
Please notify us that you have returned the car through SNS.
Our staff will come pick the car up based on the notification and GPS data.

Additional notes

In addition to the above, the individuals with the driver's license issued by the following countries,can drive a car in Japan by carrying the Japanese translation of the license together with the original driver's license;
Swizerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Monaco, Taiwan
Translation fee: 4,000 yen
It will take about 2 weeks to prepare the translation.

Required documents:

image data of the current valid driver's license issued by coutries other than Japan (front and reverse sides) The following driver's licenses may not be translated.
1. Licenses with handwritten part that may be illegible (e.g. upper left part of the reverse side of a driver's license issued by Germany)
2. Paper driver's licenses in particular, with illegible stamps or stamps overlapping the folds of the license, making them illegible (e.g. French driver's license).
Or there may other comments or requests from JAF that are not covered above. Our company will make the application on behalf of the customers.
